- Show each card and ask the students if the activity shown is safe or unsafe. Encourage them to explain why.
2. **Role-Playing Activity (5 minutes):**
- Use the toy computer and miniature pool.
- Have students take turns demonstrating a safety rule (e.g., showing how to sit at the computer, putting on a life jacket).
### Independent Practice (7 minutes):
- Distribute coloring activity sheets with illustrations of children practicing computer and swimming safety.
- Encourage students to color the sheets and discuss the safety rules depicted in the images.
### Closure (3 minutes):
- Recap the key safety rules discussed for both computers and swimming.
- Ask students a few quick questions to reinforce their understanding:
- "What should you do before using the computer?"
- "Why is it important to swim with an adult?"
- Praise the students for their participation and good behavior.
### Assessment:
- During the lesson, observe students’ engagement and participation during discussions and activities.
- Check the coloring activity sheets for understanding of safety rules.
- Ask individual students to explain a safety rule they learned as they line up to leave.
### Extension Activity/Optional Homework:
- Invite students to create a simple safety poster at home with their parents, illustrating one computer safety rule and one swimming safety rule, to share with the class in the next lesson.
### Notes:
- Make sure to repeat the important safety rules a few times for better retention.
- Maintain a friendly and encouraging tone to keep students engaged and interested.
